Welcome to Our Course Webpage!

Welcome to Grade 12 Families in Canada!  I am excited for the start of the new semester and look forward to working with you. The links to the left provide you with access to course notes and handouts. Check back frequently to find helpful information related to course content.

Classroom Expectations

  • Be punctual.
  • Arrive in full uniform.
  • Arrive prepared (proper state of mind, books, paper, pen or pencil, homework complete).
  • Respect yourself and others :
    • Take responsibility for your learning by putting forth an honest effort in everything you do
    • Listen to others while they are speaking
    • Raise your hand if you have something to share
    • Speak respectfully to others and about others
    • Keep your hands to yourself
    • Communicate openly, honestly, and respectfully:
      • Be honest with yourself
      • Think about what you have to say before you say it
      • Express differences of opinion with tact (respectfully, without being offensive)
      • Actively seek out help when it is needed.  Be specific when communicating what you need.
      • Help others when you are able to do so
      • Leave the classroom in a better condition than it was when you arrived:
        • Treat our classroom resources (tables, chairs, books, paper, computer, etc) with care
        • Return any borrowed materials to their appropriate location(s) when you are finished with them
        • Keep our classroom clean, neat and tidy. Put garbage in its place, pick up garbage if necessary
        • Push in your chair before you leave the classroom
        • If you need to leave the classroom ask permission. If permission is granted, write your name on the board. Be sure to erase it when you return to the classroom. One student is allowed out of the classroom at one time.
        • No food or drink in the classroom (water bottles are acceptable).
        • Unless explicit permission is given, cell phones, MP3 players, IPods, and other digital distractions are not to be used and are to be kept out of sight.
        • Remain seated until the bell rings.
